Does Exercising Once A Week Is Effective?
New Wave that won the world of fitness, got a name “Weekend warriors”. This concept of exercise is not revolutionary, but it finally came time to research its benefits.
The reality is that life is so chaotic with work, commitments and family, rarely making it to exercise 3-4 times a week, even though you have already paid for the terms.
But ,no despair, you can still make up your activity if you have missed during the weekend and there are pleased maximum 2 training.
150 minutes training that includes moderate exercising or 75 minutes of vigorous training is sufficient to reduce the risk of premature mortality, compared to those who never exercise.
In the study that included over 63,000 participants (of which 44% were women with an average age of 58 years), the results showed that “Weekend warriors” have a 30% less chance of death, 40% lower risk of heart disease and 18% lower rate of cancer, compared with physically inactive respondents.
The final verdict – a little sweat is better than no sweating. So if you really do not have time to exercise regularly , enable at least one vigorous training for the weekend and your body will thank you.
